Rare footage from Berlin 1930. I get always excited when I find documents like this. Weimar Berlin is gone forever, we cannot stroll along those years' Kurfürstendamm or buy a sausage on pre-war Alexanderplatz. What can one do? You can read about Weimar Berlin, listen to music from those years, watch some of the many films from that era. You can keep a blog about Weimar Berlin, as I do myself. Or, you can delight in these moving images which give some food to impossible dreams of time travel.
